yan0 has modded 2 version of Z6 CMCC branded firmwares

both of then enabled loader, txt view, theme installation etc.
the only difference between his 17R and 27R is that 27R has telnet enabled

after flash, you should do a master clear
there're a powerfull page in "mystuff/oss/yan0.wml", click on that, and do what you want

A:17R has no essential files for enabling telnet

Q:why I can't flash 27R (17R)?
A:Motorola has made some s**king restrictions to prevent users modify his firmware, even the stock ones are not so fit for any Z6. the bootloader version 03.CD works on 17R, and A3.C9 on 27R, others I dont know, you should try yourself. it's ok when the phone doesn't boot, that means your phone don't like this version, flash another one.

Modding Z6 is becoming a fantastic international experience. Yesterday I was translating russian to deal with the download of Yuriks MP. Today, I´m learnig chinese...

I´ll come out of Z6 speaking like six languages, just as bad as I speak english, but stills...

However, even managing how to register, I couldn´t find any link... Any tips will be welcome...

I've flashed this monsterpacks.The right softkey is set to browser and can't be modified...The readme of the package I downloaded is kinda confusing...It said like this:
Delete the original 17 R package
Mobile is already 27 R version, or can brush into 27 R boot and can be normal, can brush this patch. Other versions of Do not brush.
So,I decided to flash into 27R first.And it works.Ilove3D,can U give us explanation any features that this monsterpacks have?

I think E6 and A1200 almost got the same system.A780 same as E680 and Z6 same as V8...A760 and A910? I haven't seen it at my country...But A760 is the first Moto Linux phone...It's worth-collecting...:D

   I used 27R re-flash, over kimi´s 44R but browser couldn´t find telnet file on the usual file://localhost etc...

   Guess I´ll have to falsh the older yanos MP, and than re-flash the newer 27R re-flash...

hmm i used the 27R reflash from kimi and then the yano modded and all is fine.
you can reboot your phone and install skins and some else but i don´t know how to install skins because the .chm file is not opening :'(
I´m absolutely new at this telnet stuff. Hope that it gets all easier. :)

yan0_1114_Z6_27R? Where did U see it? Please share it to us...This Reflash of 27R_yan0_1111 can't open txt...Chinese characters on this MP also can't be read...Coz my 27R firmware has 0021 LP.I flashed it with 0024 LP by Kimi and it gave me an error.My phone can't boot.Then,I flashed it back to 27R to fix it...

It would be great if we can do Samba..In this 27R reflash,I found that in my favourites/open source/yan0.wml, it has a lot of great things to do..We can backup sms and contacts into memory card.I also found in Office Tools sub menu,there is menu for loader..That means we can run lin now......:D

Edit: This MP can open txt...Just follow the instruction at Yan0.wml...Btw,I can't install themes.The instruction said that just click on chm files and it would install automatically..But when I clicked,nothing happened...

I tried to install a skin with his tutorial and it did not work either i want to show this to mhr maybe he can compile it to work with the fw he has now cuz i hate the options menu being gone

No one has succeeded installing skins with this mp bkuz it says to just click on the chm file but it doesnt recognize it.

Could Somebody Help Me about Z6 mod? I am new on this phone, I get it today, after my E2 was stolen, and I'm very confused, my fw is R60_G80.33.2BR,

Check ure bootloader just connect ure phone in modem mode to rsd lite 4.1 and wait a bit and it should tell u the bootloader then write back here and tell me what it is and i will tell u if we have the same one  ;D

My BL is A3C9, and if I install this MP I will lose my lang pack (003C) or not?

With that BL,U are safe to flash to any other MP available here.U'll lose your LP 003C...But all have had English.So,I think it's not a problem for U...

Thanks for the help, but I yet would like to know how to extract a lang pack from the phone, I already obtained the CG's with flash&backup, is it only I have to do, or there is more to do before I overwrite it with another one, to after I install it back again?

I want to know how to do it because is much more comfortable to deal with my first language...

I haven't tried to compile the CG's in Z6....But I think U can do it by replacing the CG when flashing.Maybe U can try to compile the CG using SBF Tool.

I'm afraid files dumped by flash&backup is not flashable.you may even brick your phone.flash&backup is for p2k platform,not for ezx platform.

Hi. My first post here. How about BL 03.CD? I am running stock 17R firmware. What are my safe firmware that I can flash. Possibly the modified 17R. How about 27R on 03.CD? Is this possible?

Can this be done AFTER flashing the firmware? I dont see any ezx_idle.cfg file in the phone any where. Thanks
