Title: Re: edge Post by: nalimen on November 16, 2007, 03:35:27 am E398 and V3 is 2,5G's phone, phone that support EDGE is based on 2,75G, so it has differrent HW which is support to run in EDGE freq, cause they run in differrent freq, EDGE is enhacement from GPRS which available on e398 and V3, from the name, EDGE, Enhanced Datarate for GSM Evolution, it has the bigger BandWidth so the speed of data transfer is more than GPRS, but less than UMTS, that's why the UMTS is the 3rd G.
