Title: [E2] Virtual Memory Post by: arctu on October 30, 2007, 03:28:33 am Virtual Memory 1.1
By: Faruq aka arctu, based on lasly's vmemery source(from the sdk) NEW! UPDATES [1.1]:
UPDATES [1.0]:
Short info: The software allows on-the-go creation of a swap file(4,8,16,32,64,128MB) and mount/unmount it. Why did I create it? Because it seems useful and somehow Lasly left the source in the SDK with the swap not able to be started. Notes (IMPORTANT!):

Title: Re: [E2] Virtual Memory Post by: arctu on October 31, 2007, 06:09:32 pm do you have enough space on your mem card? check on your memcard: x:/.memcache/swapfile. secondly, you need to install the software on the phone!.
Title: Re: [E2] Virtual Memory Post by: saarakura on October 31, 2007, 06:16:00 pm i have free space.... and i have installed on the phone.... i create de swapfile but i cant start it... ( mount)
Title: Re: [E2] Virtual Memory Post by: huatz84 on October 31, 2007, 06:39:37 pm First, install on phone then give root access...Run the virtual memory and set the size...Wait for a few seconds until it says finish..What firmware are U using? If U use firmware with Kaledoiscope patch,U can give root access by clicking Options, manage and run as root...Check your SD and see if .memcache is there...
Title: Re: [E2] Virtual Memory Post by: arctu on October 31, 2007, 07:47:12 pm @saarakura
weird. the only reason for it not mounting is only because you don't have root access or the swap file is not created properly. there shouldn't be any other reason. what firmware are you using? Title: Re: [E2] Virtual Memory Post by: ilove3d on October 31, 2007, 11:30:21 pm every skin using z6/v8 icons
