I extracted the icons from v8 iconres.ezx file and made this skin.If time allows I'll add more screenshots.

Hope you'll like this skin.Any advice will be appreciated. :)

I removed most of the unnecessary icons so that the iconres.ezx file is within 5mb.

Finally,have the skin updated.:)This time there's still minor changes.Added several icons that was missing and had more unnecessary icons removed.And edited some values of configuration files.

of course.but I'm afraid you cannot use the v8 iconres.ezx file directly.It's different from the one in e2 and much bigger.You have to convert the icons using two different version of kview.kview02 for big icons and kview052 for small icons.Then you can save all the icons to iconres.ezx file which will look perfectly on e2.:)

AFAIK V8 has 3 stock skins. Plz, share it too. :P

Yes,the other two are plush and indium.but they are almost the same as those in early stock firmwares of e2.So I just made this one.;)

Well, it sizes will come to 10mb, you cant install it on phone... You can only replace the iconres.ezx in CG34 or install it on card (which will make your phone freeze when remove mmc/connect in memory card mode).. If its okay, i will share it... However, maybe Monday i can do it....and of course, i must get permission first from Zlole... ;)

That's okay,i can just switch to other skin before connecting it to pc,i'll do anything for a nice skin,and this one look nice...but...zjole,i hope it's okay?

A lot icons are the same as those in E2.So you can just remove there icons.This will reduce the size dramatically.;)

Yes,U can.When I used Only You V3,I could installed this theme.Just put the chm file at unknown/my skin/setup theme and the skin folder at unknown/my skin/skin....

no way mate... it just doesn't work at all.

the default orange theme from only you v3 is still there... tried everything i could. =/

I think this iconres.ezx didnt include softkey, so in Only You will be orange coz it used Z6 orange skin as default... You can try repackage the whole V8 iconres.ezx...

For ilove3d firmwares and any firmware based on his(I'm afraid most of the fws around are based on ilove3d firmwares)?installation is just one click away.;)

This skin only contains the icons from V8,no headers or backgrounds as they are the same as the default black skin of E2.

I think adrian had made some smaller version of the alkali skin on katze 2, but not exactly like ubuntu... a few things were still big.

Sorry,amneto.I didn't include everything because it would be way bigger.Most of the unnecessary icons are removed.The skin will only looks the same as the screenshots on monsters that has the stock e2 iconres.ezx file.

What icon do you actually removed? I only know the sending message animation and media search icon are removed....

have u remove the previous skin.. maybe u install a lot of skins..

"full" doesn't necessarily mean everything right?If I included everything,the iconres.ezx file would be around 15mb.I don't think that is the right size for a skin.
and the black elements you want is right there in the stock iconres.ezx of e2.That's why I removed them in this skin.Unfortunately,the fw you are using have that very iconres.ezx replaced while the fw I'm using don't.
Anyway you can add these icons yourself.If you don't know how to,check this thread (https://motohell.com/index.php?topic=891.0) out.;)

im a creator for E2 skin, i still cannot add .gif for my skin.. for ex: msg sendin ani.gif,
if added to the folder and packing to iconres, en error was appear that will say i/o output error.. whats the prob haaa??

too bad that OU not included alkali default themes.. its not suitable for z6 skins :(

That's odd.I've never come across problems like this.Which version of kview you're using?

BTW:The default alkali skin is almost the same in z6 and v8.

for alkali skin is not included in OU(Only You) vanhieumai set the z6skins as default.. no alkali themes in his FW.. thats why ur skin is not match with his Fw.. some icon is look so ugly.. if i added ur V8 skins to ROKR Ultimate,it could be fine..

Can you convert the gif files to .g files using kview03?Or you just save .g files to iconres.exz?

how many icons you get in file manager depends on the fw you're using.;)

try replacing the *.ini with those in my release.:)

you can mod mainmenu.ini file to fix it.

copy mainmenu.ini from mmc/mmca1/Themes/v8_alkali to PC
open it with wordpad and add the lines below in to the end of file. of course you can change size bigger than 14.
final copy back to mmc/mmca1/Themes/v8_alkali then refresh your phone.

vanhieumai, your File Manager looks like on first screenshot, but on zjole's skin it seems like on the second...
And zjole, can you change the iTunesIcon in iconres to picture on the third attachment?

u must edit iconres.ezx, there is a lot of icon.. just edit with photoshop and packing again with kview..

Well, the second screenshot taked from my Rokr, so I haven't problems with this icons, but when I change, or add new icons to iconres, I have some bugs in the skin, like standart icons in a few places... That's why I asked zjole to add the iTunesIcon to his skin.

thanks.. but i having problem when packaging this icon.. the black background its was appeared.. 

this is how i packing my iconres.ezx

open Kview 0.5 and convert all, after that i choose to convert image.. and save to new folder

then i open Kview 0.3 and click to save ezx.. after that i go to New Folder than packing..

after i install it to my phone and change that themes.. seems black bacground still appear.. how to convert it properly??

I converted SMALL icons like signal,battery with kview 0.52 and most of the BIG icons with kview 0.2.Then save the .k/.g files to iconres.ezx with kview 0.2.

the icon is the same at the stock flash when you press 0 in the text messages, Hopefully this can be resolved
