unzip it
put it to your sd card root (/mmc/mmca1)
add this to statup(I've added to startup_test.txt)

(he had this ability for all time he have E2,nothing modded)

The first time I bought my E2(Firmware 33P),I could enter menu without simcard.I don't know why modded firmware can't do it.I'll try this command.Thanx,Dark Slider for the info.

it's useless
you have to mount it every boot,which is able only via startup

So we can modify this file to make the phone run without a battery(charger plugged) too!

It is not patch or something,it is just configs of flex,there is no flex,which could do this(no battery work),coz I think it does not depends on seem(flex)

why do you want this in an mpkg? is useless, you're supposed to apply it only once... why would you disable it?

It works!flexbit controls many functions of the phone.Hacking this file may enable many hidden functions.But it's really frustrating experience.Wonders how many times did dimichxp try for this... ;)

i didnt find startup.txt.. where is located?

I've got a collection of E2 firmwares and compared all the flexbit as well.But I havent found one like dimichxp has.So which FW did he get that flexbit from?33P?Unluckily I dont have that FW in my collection...

That startup_test.txt must be put in unrecognizable files folder.Is that right? I'm not using my E2 right now.So I can't test it.

It depends.startup_test.txt is just like startup.txt but is prior to it.So put it where you put the startup.txt.For ilove3d FW change the name to first.txt.

it will sure come with SBF when the new motofan MP is released

you can not use the memory card connect mode when you useing this.

I haven't tried memory card mode.But without using simcard,I can't access telnet.

just chenge the path in the startup.txt so that  put the ezx_flexbit.cfg to the phone memory .
you can use the memory card mode and the usb net mode again ;D

why i can't use the e2 without simcard?
i'm using Ultimate n i've follow all instruction but still can't... :'(

Put the ezxflexbit.cfg on your memory card.Then telnet to your phone and go to ezxlocal.U should find first.txt in the root of ezxlocal folder.Open it with wordpad and copy the command from startup.test into that first.txt then save.Turn off ur phone and take out ur simcard then turn on ur phone.Now,ur phone should be working without sim.

i dont hav first.txt in ezxlocal folder. startuptest too...

U should telnet to view that first.txt.I'm using Ultimate and I have that first.txt in ezxlocal folder.

i use samba for telnet.. not cmd.. is it wut umean?

dah buat dah tapi xde gak. ade autorun.txt je

firmwares use different file names. some use startup.txt. while other firmwares use autorun.txt or first.txt
look at /system/ezx_local/ and use the text file that is already there..

kaleidescope uses startup.txt

ok firstly,u can find startup.txt at ezxlocal right?.. just copy startup.txt to MY_Favor then edit the startup .txt.. add the code given by Darkslider.. then change the startup.txt to first.txt.. sure will be ok..

this is wut i understand....

1-copy startup.txt to MY_Favor
2-edit startup.txt in my_favor (add darkslider code)
3.rename startup.txt in my_favor to first.txt

RESULT : still not successfull   :'(

Place it in /ezxlocal/ and see the result...

still not successfull...
maybe i'll stop trying..
or i'll d\try when kaleidoscope released  ;D

Dont give up bro! Have you add the line correctly? I mean, where do you add the line? Make sure you add after the "#!/bin/bash" line..

i add the line after "#!/bin/bash" but not successfull. i rename autorun.txt in MY_Favor to first.txt but still not successfull. rename to startup.txt, the result still same  ;)

OK, I make the thing easier..
1. Download nosim.zip in attachment and extract it.
2. Copy ezx_flexbit.cfg to Unrecqonizeable files>MyFavor using file manager.
3. Copy autorun.txt to /ezxlocal/
It should works now... You dont need telnet at all, just enable LinkSYS..

My Ultimate works well with this.. ;D ;D ;D
