Title: The signal is going down... Post by: vezkov on June 15, 2008, 04:08:57 am Hi there. I have a very peculiar problem with my E398. Actually the problem exists from the beginning when I bought the phone, but the last months it's happening very often. So. It's network signal is dropping to red (like there's no operator online), and seconds later back to full reception. And that's quite annoying while making a call, because the call drops and I have to dial again and again... and this all reflects to my bill. The phone is 3 years old and more, the battery lasts for 2 days, and I'm wondering whether a changing of the battery would fix the problem. This was happening with the original firmware and now with the starterXP.

I changed the MP early that morning and I'm having no problems since then, but I'm sure I would. Just last attempt before putt E398 on the shelf :(

StarterXP is quad-band enabled as much as I know, so its not that... My e398 is 5 years old, it works flawlessly ;) Title: Re: The signal is going down... Cause I have now deactivated it and for now - no problems, but as far as I can remember I have enable that option in the previous MP.
