You must replace your old elf library (from b\elf) with the new one provided in build.rar

I've attached the library. Just download and replace the old one.

* Battery_.zip
    keeps the funlights on with the corresponding color of the battery status
* AutuLock.zip
    autolock keypad
* build.rar
    the updated elf pack
* RedMenu.zip
    don't really know (it's in russian), i think it has some shutdown menu (restart, shutdown, bootloader) or something like this
22  Motorola Phone Models / Java / Re: jad and jar on: January 18, 2008, 12:09:27 am
Not really. Infact you can create the jad file from the jar because the jar it's just a renamed zip archive that contains all the neccessary files for the application to run properly. If you try to unzip a mobile java app you'll see that there is a folder called "META-INF" and inside is "MANIFEST.MF". This file is (allmost in all cases) the jad file. (There are some exceptions - eg. LightPlayer or Corelets -  that need to receive through the jad file some informations like the sounds folder or some settings).
The ideea is that for games you just need to install from jar and for the applications (especially corelets) it's better to install from jad.
(To install from jad you have to have the jar file also because the jad will be like a shortcut with parameters to the jar archive)

24  Motorola Phone Models / Java / Re: Media Viewer with Bluetooth on: December 24, 2007, 11:21:43 pm
The bluetooth thing won't work because e398 and e1 can't access bluetooth from the java system. For that to work it would be neccessary a new elektro firmware or some patch because elektro knows how to combine diferent phone firmwares (so he can 'steal' the option from another motorola phone).
As for changing the middlet attribute... I don't know, I never tried it. I erased the plugin.
25  Motorola Phone Models / Motorola E398/E790/E798/E1 / Re: HELP the vibrate of my phone is kill on: December 24, 2007, 11:17:16 pm
Maybe you're patching some patches that aren't for your firmware (eg: some patch for 49R patched over 46R) or maybe you're not doing the patching correctly
26  Motorola Phone Models / Java / Re: MP3 Tools 2.1 on: December 24, 2007, 05:06:49 pm
Sorry man. I didn't know how much motorola modding you know because you're new to this forum (or at least for me) and i don't visit frequently other motorola modding forums so i made a short tutorial so everybody can understand (especialy the noobs which can search through the forum and find the tutorial useful). But i never said you're a noob ok?!
Anyway, I think we should remember that this thread was about MP3 Tools and this is kind of offtopic Smiley
27  Motorola Phone Models / Java / Re: MP3 Tools 2.1 on: December 23, 2007, 02:48:17 pm
Java full access isn't a patch. you can provide full access to a certain java app with Motorola Midlets Manager. It's quite simple.
- just connect your phone to the computer with a p2k cable
- install motorola p2k drivers (if you didn't already installed them)
- enter MMM
- select the app from the list
- and give full access to phones memory
- now just reboot your phone and that's it
Good luck!

PS: If you're not sure about doing this and you think you could break your phone's software you can make a backup before modifing anything. (just to be sure)
28  Motorola Phone Models / Monster Packs / Re: the best MP?? on: December 20, 2007, 11:26:04 am
   First you have to change your firmware from e398(R372) to rokr e1(R373) by flashing 42R_for_all (you can find it at e398mod.com). After that you can flash any r373 mp.
   I have RGF (the 49R version) and i'm really pleased by it because there are many patches available for it, and it has an improved speed. The main disadvantage (and probably the only one) is that the battery 'dies' faster.
   42R has longer battery life (and some say that it has better sound but i see no diference between them). The main disadvantage: less patches.
   46R is something between 42R and 49R. More patches than 42R but less than 49R, battery life shorter than 42R but longer than 49R and so on.

   You can choose any mp that you want. It's your choice. Just be sure that you make backups before modding anything to your phone.
29  Motorola Phone Models / Monster Packs / Re: Motohell MP?? on: December 19, 2007, 08:01:07 am
This is a really great idea. And it would be nice if the mp will be made for two firmwares: 42R and 49R (because some like the old -but still great version, and others like the speed and all the patches).
Some other idea: it should have various skins so everybody can be pleased by the look of the mp.
I'll still think about the project and share with you my ideas.
I think this will be a great mp
