This has been the same since I got the phone. Last night while trying to set up a playlist I got frustrated by this. Some songs that have a long title will be displayed properly so I don't think it is a length problem.
But then some songs that have long or short titles are not displayed properly. Sometimes on letter or a few letters. This seems to be random. I have checked ID3 tags and they are done properly.

1. try save only id3 tag v1
2. Maybe your song title very long

This happens on titles of different lengths. It can display a lot of long titles correctly.

Played around a bit and it does seem to be the ID tag v2. But it is only on some titles. Do make sure they are done on V1 and it will be okay.
