how do u put videos on it i have been trying for ages .

 >i dont no mutch about this<  Sad
and is ther 2 types of Motorola e398s?

Connect your phone in memory card mode (connection-->USB settings).Windows will pick it up as a removable drive. Now drag n drop 3gp videos,mp3,pictures etc.. Smiley

HELLoMOTO bro..

welcome to motohell..
there is 2 way to put ur video,Picture and sound to ur phone

first step like jithinks said

2nd step :
remove ur memory card and put in card reader>connect to pc
from ur memory card u will see /mobile
then click
/mobile/audio ---------> for audio/mp3
/mobile/video ---------> for video/3gp
/mobile/picture -------> for picture/jpg/bmp/gif

that is easy right??

Hey,dont forget Mobile Phone Tools from your Motorola package. You can use that program too, and even cut, edit or convert multimedia files. Grin

add some info.u can add some folder in picture.sound&video.and to open it from phone use #or star.u can put mp3 to ringtone.and u can put aac.amr.m4a.to ur sound n ringtones

you can also use p2ktools or p2kcommander.. but you must have p2k drivers installed on your computer

so there are two types of e398 .... but can anyone please tell how to know which one of these two e398 we own...

lol..Actually those r the same phone....
the original E398 firmware is R372...
if convert it 2 Rokr,it will become R373 firmware,dude.....
How 2 know is easy open the "PHONE STATUS" in ur phone....find the S/W version there....

or enter the bootloader (* + # + POWER) and there should be written the firmware version

actually my e398 is dead now.... though i can enter the Boot Loader mode....
guys if you have any suggestions for me, here is the detail about my (currently) dead e398
