for the rest, if you look at the source codes, there's something wrong with the way we use softkeys right now.. it's a 'dirty' fix.. =x
it'll be great if someone could do a proper fix. =D

Wow, the E8 SDK seems more complete than E2... :( ah, I'm jealous....lol

modify the env.sh file as your enviroment configuration

. <path to the env.sh file>
cd <path to your souce code>
progen -o <project name>.pro
tmake <project name>.pro -o Makefile
make
