Can't be helped, today smartphones are just too attractive. The update is rapid, from one version to another version in less than a year and it keep improving. E2 or other MAGX platform in other hand is not, we keep what we had when we bought it and live with limited modification we could do.

Well, things need to move on, E2 is already too old to keep up with today smartphones. Hope you enjoy your new Defy. Android is, after all, a whole different experience.

It's good while it last and I'll keep my E2 forever though it never went on anymore.

That seems to be a nice phone, but I'm still not sure how good is their quality build. Especially if compared to Motorola phone.


I also consider LG Optimus One, seeing how their modification looks really good. But the processor limitation still hold me back.


My choice is either Galaxy Gio or Optimus One.

Or I might rather wait a little longer and save up for a Defy, hopefully.

Yeah, it seems to took a lot of time until a phone can be "more" freely modified thanks to the volunteer developer - at that time though, the phone is already outdated.

Planning to get a decent Motorola Android phone that is under $300, but Samsung seems to have a better offer...

Yeah, I'm only connected to internet so fairly safe from those infected flash card. I also installed Sandboxie, so I could run an untrusted application that I downloaded safely.

Installed Avast, but never actually using it - it's not activated either. They just slow down the computer... So have it installed just in case I need the scanner.

It will be nice if it is not ODM... Unfortunately, Motorola tends to release ODM phone for their low end now.
