Title: Keypad problems

I have a V3 that the keypad has quit working.Any help would be appreciated.

i dont know if my method works on your phone
but what i do is open the phone then clean up dirt arround the PCB

Try these:
1)Clean the keypad
      OR
2)Leave the battery for some hours..
The second method worked for me :)

all buttons don't work or just some of them?

Thanks for all the response.The only button that works is the on/off button.I am not able to pull up the bootloader info.

try the cleaning, but I don't think that it will help.

Just power on your phone and flash it with RSD Lite - it will automatically turn off the phone and enter the bootloader

if that don`t help it is the hrdware you wil need to buy a new keypad

emm the keypad itself is nothing - just some rubber. If it is hardware - then it is something with the connectors

i don`t mean the keypad whit the number on it i mean the keypad( the hardware)

I dont think it is always a h/w problem because in almost all the cases, the RED button WILL be working.. So there is something more to know about it..

oo then you will need to check the connection like tey said
