Does anyone have a E2 on the T-Mobile network that can send and receive picture messages? If so I need the MMS settings. I just switched to T-Mobile and cannot get the MMS to work. Any help would be appreciated, I have tried many things with no luck.

I think that you can go to a TMobile agency and ask for the settings, or if anyone else has a TMobile you may copy from them (if no one here has one, of course)

So far the Tmobile stores here do not have the knowledge to fix it. I called tech support and that was a big waste of time.... probably going to try again and get a different rep though. I know someone with Tmobile but theyre settings are setup different so I cannot transfer them over, I have missing areas in the settings that I need.

So far I have got the internet to work and I get a notification when someone sends me a MMS but I get an error when trying to download it.

It dosent make sense to me that the internet would work but it is unable to download a picture.

What about this ones, i saw'em in an a1200i and a little part is from a ROKR E1 that were been used with TMobile

First you must set up your web Browser:

On your menu select setup
From the menu select Data network
On the left bottom menu select new profile

Profile name: Tzones

GPRS Setting:
APN: wap.voicestream.com
User name: leave blank
Password: leave blank
Timeout: select 15 min.
Primary gateway IP: 216.155.165.50
Port 8080
Secondary gateway IP: leave blank
Port: 8080
DNS server: leave blanck
1: blank
2: blank
CSD setting:
Dial in number : leave blank
Query at Logon: unchecked
Username: leave blank
Passwork: leave blank
Baud rate: Auto
Line type: modem
Timeout: off
Everthying else unchecked and blank
Now save.

Now go to your browser and on the left bottom menu click on New
Profile name: Tzones
Homepage: wap.myvoicestream.com
Network link: Select Tzones
Save.

Now you have Tzones

Now to set up your MMS:

Messaging Screen:
Go To: Menu -> MultiMedia Messages
Profile: Make one if there is not one already for TMobile
Expire After: Maximum

Go To the Profile setting (tap the folder next to Profile Name) and make sure of the following:
Profile you have create is set to default.
Then Go To: Menu -> Edit (Make Sure of the following)
MMSC: 216.155.174.84/servlets/mms
Max Sending Size: 100K
Network Profile: GPRS

For those still having problems with MMS messages

For US T-Mobile customers, go to the T-Mo wireless data configurator site: http://tmobileus.wdsglobal.com/phonefirst

Select video/picture messaging

select Motorola as the make of phone

Select Rokr E1 as the model

Enter your number... then make a note of the PIN for when the message arrives.

Enter the PIN in the message, and let it install the update.

Once its done, go to your messages main screen and tap the Menu icon in the bottom left corner.

Select Service Setup > Multimedia Message

At the top of the window that opens, click the + at the Default Profile and select Picture Messaging then Menu > Edit

At the bottom of the window, be sure the Network Profile is also Picture Messaging.

Save, and then set Picture Messaging as Default, then Save again.

The problem was that when you manually set up your MMS, you automatically set it up to use your websession as the Network Profile. Picture messaging uses its own IP address. Manually setting that up, we would miss that.

Let me know!
