After loading new firmware, New messenge unable to choose recipients for sending

hi...all,  i'm new here.... i was loading new firmware (R373_G_0E.30.49R) to my e398. all function n application is working fine. but after type new messenge and one to send out or key in new hp number it show "Please choose one or more recipients using the centre select key". i try to select to any recipients number also unable to send. it can be send messenge when i using under recipients name --> send messenge, it just can be send out. n replying is fine too. just when select new messenge n forwarding mail. i try flash to other version firmware, the problem also same.

press the middle joystick button to choose. if it is selected there will be a mark in the square next to the name.
