Title: "No Service" after flashing Katze2 to E2 Telcel (Mexico)

Ok, so I flashed my E2 with firmware 'Katze2' including the 'Xronos_Scottish7' flex file that came included with it that is supposed to make your phone Quad band; but after doing this, the phone shows the 'No service' message on the screen, and of course I cannot make any calls...

Any guidance on this?
Is there anybody having a Mexico Telcel flex file?

i think you should find another flex file which can return the original state where you downloaded the 'Xronos_Scottish7' flex file.

Thank god!!! I used the following flex file and got service back:

Hey Nick, there is another solution to your Quad-Band problem: With the Xkronos flex installed you need to change the Network parameters. By default in Telcel Mexico there is no Quad-Band or EDGE in prepaid system, also called Amigo de Telcel, so E2 will look for EDGE and Quad-Band, that´s the 'searching' status. If you modify in Main menu>settings>network>search setup>band. In this point you'll see by default 'automatic'. This is the value you need to modify, in Xkronos flex the parameters are
_850-1900
_900-1800
/automatic

Choosing 900-1800, closing and reopening to chose again 'automatic' will solve you problem but unfortunately will cause another: Your battery will last only one day as much. I supose this is because EDGE is always on. And with the Euro flex... history doesn´t change much. Ideal solution shoul be to get an original branded Telcel flex... but that´s some more difficult than find a black pea in a rice bowl. Hope this info works to you.
