Title: Problem with System Sound
Post by: Zh@ng-L14ng on November 25, 2007, 03:35:12 am
Hi all,
I have a little problem with the system sound. I made syssound for my phone using SysSound 4.0.2 and succeed. I patch my phone with that file .fpa (produced from SysSound 4.0.2) and succeed too. But, my problem is : if I go to audio player or video player, and play it, OMG... my phone Rebooting...
I undo patch, work normally again. Does anyone can help me, please...
Thanks for suggestions...

I attach that file (SysSound_49R.fpa)

try undo-ing the patch, and if u make a syssound patch, make sure the the space of your ROM is still remind, don't overlaps the remind space available. and make sure the process creating patch has finished.

Guys, I patched the Mechanics SysSound 49R by Gayoe, it's fine.. no Rebooting while I play the audio player. But, why? Something wrong with my file .fpa? How to make the right SysSound file? I still confused..

@nalimen
The space of ROM still 928056 bytes & the process creating patch has finished. But, still problem..

OK, this is my steps :
1. I split my MP with SHXCoDec and I see the CG1 size still 12.617 KB, that's enough for system sound. (I'm using the "virgin" CG1 [no patching] unsucceed. <-- strange :()
2. I open the SysSound 4.0.2, change to English lang, open my CG1, waiting... then I see the free size still 188304 bytes (shown in red color), and click "Cutting off of emptiness" once.
3. Change the sounds one by one, but file in used not over the limits of free size.
4. Click "Replace/Remove" and wait again until show the pop up "Files are Replaced".
5. I do patching online use FB3.05, and hopla... succeed.
6. I checked again to play the audio player, NO Rebooting...
7. I patch Next Play.fpa again for function it again.
8. Finished... ;)

try to extract a CG1 with software syssound , you'll find answer for your ask.(open folder where your CG1 placed, there would be created a new folder, open it).
