I got a real problem that time:
I was in the basement of my house, where I have three lights switches. I can play to turn them on and off as many times I want. However only one of the switches really works - it turns the light on the upper floor. Unfortunately I cannot see if the light is on or off from the basement. That's too sad, because I am too lazy to go upstairs many times for checks.

The turns of this problem is - how can I know 100% which switch exactly is turning the lights on upstairs if I can go up only once! That means - I have all switches off, I play with them as many as I want, then I get upstairs and no matter if the light is on or off - I can say "switch X" is the one!

Ok I see not much interest in that game, so I will reveal the answer Smiley

0. Turn all switches OFF and wait for couple of minutes
1. Turn switch 1 ON and wait 1-2 minutes
2. Turn switch 1 OFF
3. Turn switch 2 ON
4. Go upstairs

Now if the lights are ON - then it is switch 2 (both of the other switches are OFF). If the lights are OFF - touch the electric bulb:
- If it is hot then it is switch 1 (the lights was enabled for few minutes hehe)
- If it is not hot - it is switch 3 Smiley
