Hi guys! I've been using ROKR E2 for about 2 months, and this week is a busy week for my E2 as I flashed 5 FWs on it for only one reason: Sound Skipping in built in player!

I tried Legend, Casseopeya, ROKR Elysion, Maxx 3, and Maxx 4. Most of them said that there are "No sound skipping". But guess what? All FWs I tried has sound skipping problem, at least with some of my song. (I changed apmd to 100/300/400 on all of those FWs).

Of course I can use Rockbox, but i use my phone in a quite active call and messaging. And AFAIK Rockbox has bug on incoming calls / message, the song will eventually played on phone's speaker.

I need you to be honest. Really, is there any FWs that has no sound skipping problem?
I started to think that it's the low performance encoder that caused the sound skipping.

Thanks

Just make a swap partition on your SD-card, then mount it, what's your fw now? if it some new fw like Maxx4, there's an option to create it on your phone.

thank you guys! it works!
swap did the job. Before this, i always disabled it because it slows down Java app loading. But for what it has done, i wouldn't mind waiting a few more sec to load my Java apps... Cheesy

cheers!
