how do u enable or disable edge in f/w maxx3

I heard that it drains your battery and i dont connect to internet on my phone anyway so.  please advise.

also about the disable quadband, does it really effect the battery on E2?

Simply follow instructions on this link http://www.e2mod.com/content/view/165/29/.
For a shortcut, just download this http://storage.e2mod.com/firmware/flex/Xronos_Scottish7.zip, and flash your phone with RSD Lite.
(You don't need to flash it in BL mode, just connect your phone.)

In my case, battery always drains accurately whether you connect to internet or not.
EDGE on E2 is limited at Class 6, but it's more faster than GPRS.

I enabled EDGE and Quadband in My E2 and yes, it drains my battery like hell.

Anyway... I have heard someone here say that he can enable and disable EDGE from Engineering tool. But I forgot where the post. I think it could save our time as we can enable EDGE only when we want to use it for internet, and after that we can disable it...
