1. is there a linux rokr e8 usb driver avaiable? i cant find any linux drivers 2. can i activate ftp and telnet on the phone without reflash? i have a german rokr e8 and would use german... and not an englisch firmware thx mfg Title: Re: 2 questions Post by: Exploited on September 30, 2008, 11:16:52 pm 1. the official drivers for motorola are windows only. I am sure there is a way to use it under linux, but somebody more linux savy should say here
2. You can flash the firmware with telnet enabled and then flash the 002E language pack over it: http://www.e2mod.com/e8/index.php/langpacks-downloads/37-lp002e-from-0207r.html That will enable German.
