So, my plan covers picture, video, and voice messages. My mom recently got the bill and said I had Data charges. So we went down to the AT&T store, they said that 9/10 times, the unlocked cell phones end up connecting to the internet to send and receive these messages. However, if my plan covers this, why should I have to pay?

How can I change the settings so that it does not do this?
The only Data Connection in my phone is Cingular MMS.

I don't know if MMS can be sent without Internet (GPRS) connection at all.
