i suggest a very different approach: don't make these fscking "reflashes", "mosterpacks", and so on. jut publish your bunch of configs or whatever you changed. |

tardis - you are not right. There is a train for everybody - for the people who like to do the mods themself and for the regular users who do not have enough knowledge to do it. Most of the people are users - they want to flash their phone and enjoy. Remember - we do all the mods mainly for them!
I agree that sources must be revealed; however this is not possible in this case, because the user is from China and it's hard to translate.

I do not believe it was a java app. The java apps use internet to send and receive messages as the AIM that comes with the phone uses text messages. |

if you want instant messenger, find on the net to get it.
and instant messenger always use internet connection. except for local connection like bluetooth connection or infrared.
