Theoritically, I don't think they should be a problem in flashing other fw versions's langpack as long as it is E8's. But has anyone tested it? I want to use the telnet firmware with the 0021 langpack which belongs to a lower fw version. thanks.

I don't have E8 yet; however my past experience with E398 and E2 (which is very similar os) shows no problems in that. As long as it is not major revision difference - no problems.

P.S. I see at motofan that they are flashing 06R 002E langpack over 07R firmware.

Use this: http://www.e2mod.com/content/view/275/27/

Extract the LP from existing firmware (it's CG46 as far as I know), then pack it back in the new (or create flash file from it only - not sure if it will work)... Good luck Smiley
