afaik it shouldn't touch your langpack. and i strongly recommend not to flash this reflash to phone with different fw installed (not 02.07R). |

just flashed. and im not on 02.07R. can't go in Connections app. :S
btw.. will flashing affect the hdd storage?
edit: For flashing the other 02.07R fw, any methods of backing up sms'es? Or to be able to retain them? Or does it not replace at all?

I hope I am right - you need to download the main.db file from /ezxlocal/sysDatabase/ Try to browse via the internal browser with file://ezxlocal/sysDatabase/... I hope you can download it. I don't know cos I am not with E8 - it works on E2. Then if you got telnet enabled - you will be able to easily restore. If not - too sad for your phonebook and SMS  |

ahh.. didn't thought of that. but oh well, too late now, i've already flashed it. =/
telnet and ftp works nicely. also, it seems that e8 uses not only sysDatabase. There are other files too.
