Title: [Release] BusyBox 1.11.2 And Bash 3.2
Post by: arctu on September 13, 2008, 04:52:38 am
I think people have already compiled these for Z6 and it should work out of the box for E8.
Well, I'm just trying out the cross compiler and these are the two important software missing for E8. ;)
The binaries should also be compatible with Z6, V8 and U9.

Look here for more details: http://www.aktaeon.com/2008/09/13/rokre8-busybox-1112-bash-32/

Feel free to mirror. But please link back. Thank you. (:

Hmm... Nice work there arctu... Btw can u compile it to E2 too? Or is there any newer compiled version? I think mine is quite outdated now... :)

Hmm, why do you need an updated version? Any important bug fix?

Hahaha. Then there is no point in upgrading unless there's a big version gap. :P

MPL: your bash is corrupted. see the file size. probably you didn't copy it to ur phone properly.

I wanna install bash & busybox on my zn5 so applications and scripts can run.
I've heard e8 is also running mplayer, what scripts does it require to run. I guess I'm missing a linxtend folder, need help to hack the firmware so mplyer can run on zn5
